Firmware v2.0 Unlocked !!!

The new iPhone OS 2.0 software has been unlocked and jailbroken. It was released just hours ago and it has already been cracked by the iPhone Dev Team. The first one took a couple of months, but this one was actually unlocked before Apple released it to the public. And you have had the proof in front of you all morning.

If you were wondering how I was doing push email tests on iPhone OS 2.0 and Vodafone UK, this is the reason why. The code wizard commandos at the iPhone Dev Team have been working on this non-stop since the early days of beta testing. In fact, I had iPhone OS 2.0 running on my iPhone since last week. That was version 5A345, two below 5A347, but identical in functionality.

Now that the official iPhone OS 2.0 is out, the iPhone Dev Team will release their Pwnage tool for everyone to unlock and jailbreak their iPhones soon. It may not be as interesting as before—since most countries now have the iPhone and it will be impossible to buy without doing a contract first—but people looking to install unsigned applications and buy pay-as-you-go cards while traveling—instead of roaming—will find it very useful.

And besides, we don't get tired of seeing the Death Star exploding again and again.

yo soy de los q me da igual perder el JB xq la verdad que al final solo utilizo lo que tiene el iPod y el Solitario. al principio utilizaba de todo pero ya no. ademas me interesan las mejoras de la 2.0, por eso me he bajado el itunes 7.7 pero le doy a buscar actualizaciones, y me pone que la 1.1.4 es la mas reciente. todavia no ha salido la del touch? hay q restaurar para q te salga la actualizacion?

Pues ya esamos a 11 de Julio y no hay disponible ninguna actualización a 2.0, sin embargo ya puedes entrar a ver en el iTunes las aplicaciones ¿que pasa?

Marca estadounidense, hasta que no sea una hora normal allí no me veo que lancen el FW 2.0.

aun no ha salido muchachos. Creo q ni siquiera la actualizacion 2.0 para el iphone. Una cosa es q esté la firmware ya subida en los servidores de Apple y se pueda descargar indirectamente, y otra muy diferente es q apple la esté distribuyendo ya.

La version para ipod a fecha de ahora mismo no está aun subida, lo acabo de comprobar y no esta.

De todos modos habrá q pagar... o esperar para ver si podemos usar las nuevas funciones

Señores, aqui dejo un enlace en el cual se puede descargar el firmware 2.0. (No sé si solo es para iPhone).

No lo he probado, asi que tened cuidado si os animais a instalarlo.
